Please read these terms and conditions carefully before
using Finewineuk.com (“Maison Colombier Prestige
& fine Chateau Wines). By accessing or using Finewineuk.com
("The Website") you agree to be legally bound
by these terms and conditions as they may be modified
and posted from time to time. If you do not wish to
be bound by these terms and conditions then please do
not use The Website.
By accessing The Website you accept and agree to these
terms and conditions of use as they apply to your use
of The Website.
All prices and information subject to alterations without
prior notice.
All goods are subject to availability and remain the
property of ‘Maison Colombier’ until payment
is received in full.
We accept credit card payment Switch, MasterCard, Visa
and JCB. Order by fax and payment by cheque option are
available. Your order can only be accepted if you are
over 18 years of age. By placing an order with Maison
Colombier you confirm that you are at least 18 years
old.
Standard Uk delivery on our products is approx. 2-5
working days to Mainland UK. If you require next day
delivery in Mainland UK, orders must be received by
12:00. All next day orders incur an additional delivery
charge.
We can deliver on any specific day, just notify us
in the delivery instructions box. Please try and specify
an address where the recipient will be present (office,
neighbour, etc). Delivery prices include full insurance
cover, postage and packing and VAT. Delivery must be
to an address in the UK. We cannot deliver to PO box
Addresses. Our couriers deliver Monday to Friday 0900-
¬ 1730, excluding bank holidays.
It is your obligation to inspect goods immediately upon
receipt and notify either ourselves or the carrier immediately
of any shortage or damage. In the absence of any notification
within three days the shortage, damage or any other
deficiency will be deemed to have occurred after delivery
to you.
In the unlikely event that we have run out of an item
on your order, we will endeavour to contact you to arrange
a replacement. However at peak times of the year, we
do reserve the right to replace out of stock items with
another of equal or greater value.
We may suspend deliveries and/ or collections if any
sum is outstanding.
The Statutory rights of the consumer are not affected
by the terms of our service
Whilst we make every effort to ensure the proper cellaring
of wines in our possession and will act in good faith
in purchasing wines, we cannot be responsible for the
condition of wines or whether they show any attributes
that might be expected. In our absolute discretion we
will consider requests for replacing the unopened balance
of an order which is undrinkable.
Warnings: customers should take note of the following
inherent risks and warnings:
- Alcohol should be consumed in moderation
- A case of wine is heavy so extra care should be taken
when lifting it. If you are concerned about the weight
we advise that you transfer the bottles 1 or 2 at a
time.
- Some wines, particularly Reds, may cause staining
if spilt so please take extra care.
- Sparkling wines and champagnes can be volatile due
to the build up of gasses so please exercise caution
when you are opening these.
We DO NOT pass your details on to third party companies
for promotional or any other purpose.
Maison Colombier Wines reserves the right to change
or add to these terms and conditions for security, legal
or regulatory reasons.
